Worker consultation and participation
Non-managerial workers have to be consulted and take part in key decisions, and be protected from reprisals. The questionnaire assesses this separately from general communication.
ISO 45001:2018 + Amd 1:2024 · OH&S
Audexa turns ISO 45001 into a guided self-assessment of 65 controls, from worker consultation to incident investigation. You see what you have, what is missing and who has to close it, and you reuse the work you already did for ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
What ISO 45001 asks for
ISO 45001 is a voluntary, certifiable standard. It sits on top of the health and safety law of each country, which applies whether or not you are certified.
Non-managerial workers have to be consulted and take part in key decisions, and be protected from reprisals. The questionnaire assesses this separately from general communication.
Routine and non-routine activities, work organisation, human factors, equipment, substances and past incidents all feed hazard identification and risk assessment.
Eliminate first, then substitute, engineer, organise and only then rely on protective equipment. Management of change and emergency preparedness follow from it.
Procurement, contractor selection, control during the work and outsourced processes are part of the system, not an annex to it.
The 2024 amendment asks you to decide whether climate change is a relevant issue and whether interested parties have related requirements. It is built into the context controls.
The structure shared with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 makes it possible to run one system for quality, environment and OH&S, with one management review and one internal audit.

What the questionnaire covers
The 65 controls follow clauses 4 to 10 of ISO 45001 and include the 2024 climate amendment. They are grouped into 13 sections so you can split the work between safety, HR, procurement and maintenance.
Mappings
If you have already audited quality or environment in Audexa, creating the ISO 45001 audit shows how much your existing work covers. High-coverage answers arrive as proposals marked «Review it», and a person confirms them. They are not legal equivalences, just a starting point.
Action plan
Every control you do not meet comes with the steps to get there, the expected evidence and who should own it. Turn it into tasks with subtasks and attach the proof when it is done. The Occupational Health and Safety Policy is ready to adapt and sign.
How it works
Pick ISO 45001 in «New audit» and see how much your ISO 9001 or ISO 14001 audits already cover.
Set applicability, answer control by control and review the proposed answers.
Assign tasks, collect evidence, approve the policy and repeat the audit to measure progress.
Plans
The Free and Core plans do not include ISO 45001. We give you a fixed proposal in the demo based on your team and sites.
